Decent Sports spirits

In 1984?

Clarke road secondary school , the Clarke road Trojans in London Ontario Canada  in sports won senior high school hockey football and basketball ball championships all in the same year.

With the hockey team winning gold at wossa.

The only school in the whole world, as far as I know or have googled it, to actually win all three championships or rather THE TRIPLE CROWN in all three sporting competitions in only one year.

I’ll tell ya.

A lot of sporting accomplishments are impressive .

But , that sporting accomplishment?

The Clarke road Trojans high school teams accomplished that year?

In 1984?

That’s quite a feat.

Around the time my sister and brother attended Clarke road.

And my sister was student council president.

Around that time.

There’s was a sports spirit among those east end london high school kids thats truly rarely seen in sports.

It seemed like an unbeatable sports spirit.

Unique.

 powerful .

the determined sports curriculum of that high school in the year 1984.

And around that time.

Thats of a certainty.

Pure and simple.

🐳 I actually wonder even if a professional hockey or basketball or football team had played the Trojans squads that year they’d have struggled to defeat such a prominent sports curriculum?

In 1984?

 would even a professional team have lost against the  Clarke road high school senior AAA teams .

In hockey basketball and football?

That year.

I literally wonder.

Whether it was unbeatable?

Who knows?

Yet most would agree it was a strong unity  of kids having fun and showing their talent.

If a championship was on the line.

You had to be there and in tuned to the spirit world though to know that was true. 🪼

It was a weird sporting spirit of power.

At that school. That year. Very intense. For people that lived through it?

I’m actually amazed few acknowledged it.

My brother 

“Jeff” gave me his Clarke road Trojans jacket around 1987?

And when I was wearing it?

🤭

Sometimes people would ask me if I was part of the 1984 sports curriculum🫣 and teams at Clarke road.

That year.

It was actually interesting how many people asked me that question.🙋 

My sister had a sports spirit on her being that knew how to fire people up .

And I believe she really did help in igniting  the sporting events there and get the whole school fired  up.

It’s hard to explain.

Exactly.

Yet I’m positive she helped the cause.

 

When she was attending at the school.

As student council president.

Which set the stage for the 1984s sporting heroics..

Especially the year Winnie was student council president.

With her screaming Trojan sisters and friends.

Helping her too.

As a good decent influence for younger kids to follow.

Kind of reflective or like the beach boys tune

Be true to your school.

A song she forced me to listen to as a kid.

 Ooo

Those Trojan women.

Igniting the fun.

Aw yes.

And looking back?

At those years too?

I’m kind of surprised that there is nothing on line that commemorates the sporting talent there that Clarke had during the 1980s and  the 1984 sporting year at Clarke road secondary school.

Too.

The nhls Scott Thornton played for Clarke road.

So did a few other NHL hockey players.

And for the record?

If you work it out on paper?

In a city the size of London?

In 1984?

It’s next to impossible for a school to actually win the triple crown.

They did the impossible technically speaking in winning high school hockey , basketball and football all in the same  year.

1984.

ALL in one year.

That might be the single most incredible sporting accomplishment in sports history.

Maybe?

Maybe not.

But it might be.

It’s fairly impresssive.

Yet nothing exists to commemorate that accomplishment?

On line?

that’s kind of interesting.

And a bit weird.

In my humble opinion.

That accomplishment is not commemorated on line?

Wow.

I respectfully say,

 The sports brilliance I witnessed as a kid at clarke road secondary school and in and around the east end as a kid from 1977 to 1997 is basically an unmatched sports spirit  in the history of all high schools on earth.

In my humble opinion.

Competing and respectfully humbly challenging for 

Championship after championship again and again is what we’re speaking of.

Here. 

And 

As far as I know?

No school in the entire world has ever accomplished the next to almost impossible task of actually winning  🌈SENIOR high school

Hockey ,high school football, and high school  basketball sporting championships all in

The very same year.

Yet even if another school can say that?

That doesn’t alter the fact that is still a testament to the great sports curriculum that existed at the school during the 1970s and 1980s.

Maybe another school has acccomplished the feat?

Maybe?

Yet no record exists of another school accomplishing the feat.

as far as I know?

Only one school in the whole entire world can actually make such an incredible claim.

The 1984 high school sports CLARKE ROAD students and coaches .

The 

Clarke road Trojans. Of 1984.

They won 

The triple crown . In high school sports that year.

That’s almost unbelievable.

Considering the facts of the situation.

How many huge high schools as well as kids are in London?

The 

Clarke road Trojans won all three senior championships.

I just find that impressive and something that should be respected.

That sort of accomplishment in sports?

It’s rarely seen.

If ever seen?

And it’s not commemorated at all in any social media whatsoever?

Sorry?

That doesn’t truly compute.

In logic

In my opinion.

So that’s why I made this website.

Which is why I’m asking anyone who reads this to note this.

Through memorabilia and pictures if anyone can help this blog website with pictures of Clarke roads sports curriculum during the 1970s and onward to 1990s then I will include such pictures here in respect of a great sports curriculum during the 1970s 1980s and 1990s.

I’d like to respectfully make a blog or website that offers its readers an appropriate tribute to clarke roads students and their coaches during the years ranging from 1970 to the year 2000 whichremembers  the incredible seemingly unbeatable lively and exciting sports spirit and curriculum displayed by both students and coaches at clarke road high school during those wonderful years.

So?

If it’s possible.

With picture memorabilia or any other sports memorabilia commemorating clarke roads incredible sporting spirit during those years specifically then please do let me know.
